Upward Soccer and Cheer Camp 2012

Thank you for your interest in our Upward Soccer Camp. We are excited to provide this opportunity for your children to experience and develop not only the fundamentals of soccer, but also the personal values of integrity and excellence…all in a safe and fun environment. Upward Soccer Camp is a camp for boys and girls designed to strengthen player skills and to promote salvation, character, and self-esteem.

Registration:

Early Registration is $45 per camper; after June 1 the cost is $55 per camper. Please make checks to New Life Community Church (or NLCC). Mail completed registration form (one per camper) and payment to: New Life Community Church, P.O. Box 133, Northfield, VT 05663. You can also fax forms to 485-5171 or email them to tcates@newlifevt.com. Each SOCCER CAMPER receives a t-shirt, soccer ball, poster, and water bottle. Each CHEER CAMPER receives a t-shirt, pom-poms, poster, and water bottle.

What to wear:

Each SOCCER CAMPER should wear shin guards, comfortable running shoes or cleats, shorts, and t-shirt. Each CHEER CAMPER should wear comfortable shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes. Please have each camper wear appropriate sun protection.

Daily Schedule:

Campers can check in at 8:45 each day. A mid-morning snack is provided. Camp ends at 12 noon. Each day will include the following:

• Kick Around
• Opening Team Meeting and Game plan  (daily devotion and scripture)
• Warm-ups
• Games for fun, Skills and drills stations, Game situations, Skills games, and scrimmages
• Upward Stars – rewarded to every child at the end of the day to build self-esteem and team spirit

Map and Directions:

Memorial Park is located at the end of King Street in Northfield. Turn at the Subway restaurant (right if coming from the south, left if coming from the north). Follow the road to the left and go to the end of King Street. The road dead ends into the park.
