Welcome to
Our Church Community

Sunday Service - weekly at 10:00am

At New Life Community Church, we are a Bible‑believing, Christ‑centered family of faith committed to knowing God, growing together, and sharing the hope of Jesus with our community. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church to call home, we’re grateful that God has led you here.

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, there is a place for you here. Our prayer is that you will encounter the love of Jesus, experience the power of His Word, and discover the joy of walking in new life.

We invite you to join us this week, and every week — and let’s grow in Christ together.

Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:

old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

We believe that life in Christ is a journey of transformation — a journey where God makes us new, shapes our hearts, and strengthens our walk with Him. Our desire is to help every person take the next step in their faith, rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit.

  • Christ‑centered teaching that is grounded in the truth of God’s Word

  • Authentic community where relationships are built and burdens are shared

  • Spirit‑led worship that lifts our hearts toward Jesus

  • Opportunities to serve and make a difference in the Kingdom

Who we are

What We Believe

  • At New Life Community Church, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to redeem and restore all who come to Him in faith.

    John 3:16, Colossians 1:15–20

We believe that salvation is a gift of grace, made possible through Christ’s death and resurrection, and received by trusting in Him alone.

    Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 10:9

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God — true, authoritative, and sufficient for teaching, correction, and spiritual growth.

    2 Timothy 3:16–17, Psalm 119:105

We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, empowering us to live transformed lives that reflect Christ’s love.

    Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22–23

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, serve one another, and share the hope of the Gospel with the world.

    1 Corinthians 12:27, Matthew 28:19–20

And we believe that in Christ, we are made new — forgiven, restored, and invited into a life of purpose and eternal hope.

    2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:4

  • Hebrews 10:24-25 – “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Colossians 3:16 – “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 – “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

James 5:16 – “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Romans 12:5 – “So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”

Galatians 6:2 – “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Philippians 2:1-2 – “Therefore, if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.”

1 John 1:7 – “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

…and so many more biblical reasons!

  • New Life Community Church (NLCC) began forming through prayer as early as 2001, when local believers and partner churches started seeking God about planting a new church in Northfield.

The church officially started in 2008 as a Southern Baptist congregation in Northfield, Vermont, with a purpose centered on helping people grow in their faith and live out their new life in Christ.

The church’s mission has consistently emphasized:

    • Helping people grow in their relationship with God

    • Serving the community

    • Strengthening families

    • Developing character in children and youth

    • Living out the message of 2 Corinthians 5:17 — becoming a new creation in Christ

The church is registered as a Vermont nonprofit corporation, incorporated on January 31, 2008, under the name New Life Community Church of Central Vermont, Inc.
